WINTERS BOWLS
WATERLOO and Taunton gave their Inbev Winter Bowls League ‘A’ Division championship hopes a huge lift with an 11-0 whitewash of Radcliffe on the Chadderton Cot artificial surface.
But they still trail champions Royle, who maintained their grip on the title race with a 10-1 defeat of Springbank.
New Street maintained their recent improvement with an 8-3 victory over Springhead.
In the ‘B’ Division, Tonge strengthened their position at the top with a 9-2 defeat of Vixens, a result Nimble Nook matched against Prestwich.
North Chadderton defeated Dogwood 8-3.
