Charlestown setback
Date published: 20 November 2008
MANOR dented Charlestown’s title aspirations in division one of the Ashton Sunday League.
In the only fixture to take place because of waterlogged pitches, goals from Paul Shaw, Paul Hopwood and Keith Melvin clinched an exciting 3-2 win for the visitors, who are now within touching distance of the top two.
Joe Carroll and Chris Lomas replied for Charlestown.
