SQUASH: Fourth’s sole victors

Tame Valley’s fourth team were the only victors for the Greenfield club in the latest round of matches in the JJB North West Counties Squash League.
They scored a 5-0 whitewash win against Rochdale fifths through the efforts of Fiona Heston, Mark Regan, Derek Leyland, Steve Brannen and Eric Mowinski.
The first and third teams both lost to top-of-the-table teams against Lancs Health & Racquets first and second teams in division two central and division four east, respectively.
Wayne Smith recorded the only success for the second team which lost 4-1 against David Lloyd seconds.
