SEVEN Oldham gymnasts claimed a clutch of honours in the North-West Championships in Warrington.
The spring-heeled youngsters, who were representing Heywood Sparks Gymnastics Academy, were spearheaded by Daisy Navesey’s superb win in the novice under-eights section.
She was crowned overall champion after coming out on top on the vault and bars and was runner up on the beam and floor.
Competing at level four juniors, Emily Richardson produced an outstanding display to take the regional beam title, while Ashleigh Tootill won the regional senior floor competition.
Abby Whitley was third on vault in the pre-novice under-eights category, while Jade Goddard was second on vault and third on beam in the novice under-nine class.
Shannon Wood was third on bars and floor in the pre-novice under-11s, and Hayley Harewood was third on beam in the pre-novice over-12s.
