Tame Valley first team gave themselves an early Christmas present as they ended a five-match losing run iwth a 4-1 victory over Wigan CC 2nd in Division Two Central of the North West Counties Squash League. Jamie Maddox, Amir Manachouri, Mike Potter and Herbie Roebuck all won.
Graham Hall was the only winner for the 2nds in a 4–1 defeat by Westhoughton 1st, while the fourths stretched their unbeaten run to five with a 5-0 win over Fairways Lodge 5ths thanks to Richard Green, Rod Humphries, Derek Leyland, Steve Brannan and Eric Mowinski.
