A BREAK of 44 by Russ Bedford in the first frame helped Moss Inn get back to winning ways. However, it is CBC and Springbank ‘A’ who will end the year on top of the table in the Oldham Amateur Snooker League.
Springbank ‘A’ produced a sterling performance to record a 5-1 victory at home to high-flying Royton Band, and with CBC going down 4-2 away at North Chadd, it’s all getting very tight at the top.
Chadderton Reform and Moss Inn are just one point behind the league leaders as six teams are separated by just two points.
Nimble Nook remain well clear at the top of the card league and a fine 4-0 victory by Oldham Cricket over Little Cot B keeps them in second place.
