Aaron Davies
ROYTON snooker sensation Aaron Davies was in the pink during the Pontins 11-14 years competition held at the Prestatyn Sands Centre in North Wales.
Aaron (11) lifted the winner’s trophy and £100 top prize when he defeated Carlisle’s Dylan Schwencke 2-0 in the final.
Aaron saw off the challenge of 26 other competitors who had reached the finals after winning regional heats at eight Pontins centres during the summer.
A pupil at Our Lady’s School, Royton, Aaron is also a regular for the Greater Manchester youth pool team.
He is a member of the Royton-based Ebbro Snooker Academy and is coached by Barry Broadbent.
Aaron’s highest break is 65 in competition and 96 in practice.
