WOMEN DARTERS UP TO THIRD PLACE

THE Oldham women’s darts team produced some excellent throwing as they defeated Blackpool 5-3 at home in a rearranged game in the premier division of the Lancashire GMC Super League.

The Oldham winners were Shereen Downs (3-0), Debbie Dunkerley (3-2), Nicola Murphy (3-1), Janet Fox (3-2) and Joan Hicken (3-1) as the team climbed to third place in the table.

Oldham are next in action on Sunday, January 25 at home to Morecambe.
