Tame valley losses

Dave Swallow was the only winner for Tame Valley 1st as they lost 4-1 to Vale of Lune in the JJB North West Counties Squash League.
The seconds suffered the same fate, Steve Ivell the only scorer against Monton 1st.
The thirds completed the double over Bury 4ths, winning 4-1 thanks to Graham Hall, John Hesten, Richard Green and Eric Buchannan.
After suffering a 5-0 drubbing in the first match of the season, Valley fourths turned the tables on second-placed Rochdale 4ths, winning 3-2 thanks to Rod Humphries, Derek Leyland and Steve Brannan.
In the Lancashire Women’s League, Amanda Maddox, Debra Cockburn and Dorothy Quarmby gave Valley a 3-2 win over Bury.
