Big test for Lilywhites
Date published: 16 January 2009
MOSSLEY are at home to second-placed Lancaster City tomorrow in UniBond League division one north.
The Lilywhites are eighth and their play-off hopes were dealt a blow in a 2-0 home defeat against Curzon Ashton on Tuesday when they missed a hatful of chances.
Manager Chris Willcock was nonetheless pleased with the commitment and effort of his players and says he cannot envisage many changes tomorrow, although Mike Fish, Lee Blackshaw and Leon Henry all impressed as second-half substitutes to stake their claims for starting spots.
Lancaster will provide a stern test as they are four points behind leaders Halifax Town but have five games in hand.
