Squash drubbing for Tame

Tame Valley’s first team suffered a 5-0 drubbing by South Shore in Division Two Central of the JJB North West Counties Squash League.
With only one win in eight matches, Valley have slipped close to the relegation zone.
It was a disastrous night all round for the Greenfield club as the thirds also crashed 5-0 to Fairways Lodge fourths, while the second and fourths both lost 3-2, to Markland Hill 1st and Monton 2nd respectively.
Herbie Roebuck and Wayne Smith won for the seconds, with Rod Humphreys and veteran Steve Lomas scoring for the fourths.
