Mossley are through to the semi-finals of the Manchester County FA Premier Cup — but Oldham Town are out after a 4-1 extra time defeat at home to Curzon Ashton.
The Lilywhites required extra time — it was 2-2 after 90 minutes — in their 4-2 win at Maine Road. Nick Boothby and Danny Dignan scored two goals apiece.
Town, from the Vodkat North-West Counties League, produced a battling performance to push Curzon all the way in their last-eight tie.
Curzon went ahead through Mike Noaton, but Jake Cotterill equalised just before the half-hour mark.
Town kept their UniBond League division one north opponents at bay for the remainder of normal time, only for a Ben Hardie hat-trick to seal their fate in the extra passage of play.
