Non-League preview

OLDHAM Town will field a depleted side for tomorrow’s Vodkat League Cup, third-round tie at Stone Dominoes.

Striker Darren Scanlan and defender D J Ogunlade are unavailable while John Joyce, Tom Hughes and Matty Blair are injury doubts.

Manager Tony Mills has released Matt Landregan and Lee Neville after they challenged his selection policy.

The pair were substitutes for Tuesday’s Manchester Premier Cup tie against UniBond League, division one north side Curzon Ashton which Town lost 4-1 after extra-time.

CHADDERTON, who are without a win in five games in the first division of the Vodkat North-West Counties League, will be out to end that miserable run at Ashton Town.

Town are bottom of the table, while Chadderton have failed to find the net in their last three matches.

Chadderton reserves are at home to AFC Fylde.

MOSSLEY return to Unibond League first division action against Skelmersdale United hoping that their midweek Manchester Premier Cup 4-2 victory over Maine Road after extra-time does not take its toll.

Mossley and Skelmersdale are both on the fringe of the play-off places.
