Oldham dartsmen stay top

THE Oldham men’s darts team won 8-2 at rivals Rochdale to stay top of the premier division of the Lancashire GMC Super League.
Lee Williams was Oldham’s man of the match, averaging 84.52 every three darts in his 3–0 victory.
Oldham’s other winners were Chris North (3-0), John Morton (3–0), Mark Tomlinson (3-1), Dave Rawstron (3-0), John Downs (3-1), Scott Morris (3-2) and Dave Yates (3-2).
Oldham are at home to St Helens on Sunday.
OLDHAM women were held to a 4-4 draw at home to Morecambe in the premier division of the Lancashire GMC Super League.
Shereen Downs (3-0) was player of the match while the other victories were secured by Mandy McKenzie (3-0), Carol Geddes (3-1) and Tracey Hindle (3-1).
