Tame struggle on

Tame Valley’s first team continue to struggle in Division Two Central of the JJB North West Counties League, Amir Manachouri being their only winner in a 4-1 loss to Preston Grasshoppers 2nd.
Valley 2nds had no match due to the withdrawal from the league of Wigan Cricket 3rds, but Graham Hall, John Hesteon, Richard Buchannan and Richard Green gave Valley 3rds a 4-1 win over Hyde Cricket 3rds.
The fourths thrashed Cheetham Hill 4ths 5-0 thanks to Rod Humphries, Fiona Heston, Mark Regan, Derek Leyland and Nigel Young.
In the Lancashire Women’s League, Valley beat David Lloyd 3-1, Fiona Heston, Debra Cockburn and Dorothy Quarmby being successful.
