Hollinwood find leaders too tough

BUOYED by last week's win, Hollinwood travelled to Wibsey Warriors full of confidence — but it didn't take long for the home team to show why the division four leaders haven't lost a game at home all season.
The West Yorkshire side took command from the off, crossing for two converted tries in the opening 10 minutes, to eventually run out 48-4 victors.
A young and fit side whose oldest player was 23 sucked the visitors into the centre of the pitch before spreading it to their quick wingers time and again.
Hollinwood's efforts to combat the tactics were best exemplified by man-of-the-match Mick Wilson, who gained the award just ahead of Alistair Williams, Ian Hunt and Pete Jackson.
Ray Parry and Sonny Williams also worked hard, but Wibsey rarely gave Hollinwood much chance to get the backs running.
Williams scored the only try for the visitors and was unfortunate to have another effort chalked off by the referee.
Hollinwood stay third-bottom of the table.
