RU men look for safety

OLDHAM RUFC could move further away from the danger zone in North Lancs/Cumbria division tomorrow with victory at home to local rivals Aldwinians (2.15pm).

After three wins from their last four matches Oldham, who will be bidding to complete a league double following their 17-16 victory at Audenshaw, are suddenly inching towards mid-table.

It is expected to be a close game with Aldwinians needing the points in their bid to climb out of the relegation zone.

Front-row man Chris Heptonstall is unavailable while Jack Taylor will continue as hooker after a good game as a stand-in in last weekend’s win at Burnley.
