Non-league preview

YOU can gauge the importance of a match by the number of pies on sale - and Oldham Town have ordered double the usual amount for tomorrow’s visit of AFC Liverpool!
The Merseyside team, formed last summer by supporters who claimed they were being priced out of watching Premier League football, are top of the Vodkat North-West Counties League, first division.
Town lost 5-0 at Liverpool earlier in the season, but boss Tony Mills plans to unleash central defender Tim Buxton as a striker because of his nuisance value.
He hopes to have goalkeeper Matty Blair back after a hand injury, while Lee Neville has returned to the club after apologising to Mills for criticising his selection policy.
Midfield man Tom Hughes, however, is still missing with groin and ankle injuries.
CHADDERTON, who have played only once since Boxing Day, head to Stone Dominoes in the first division of the Vodkat NWCL.
And they will be aware that neighbours Oldham Town lost 4-3 after extra-time on the same ground in the third round of the Vodkat League Challenge Cup last Saturday.
Chadderton reserves are at home against New Mills.
MOSSLEY are in UniBond League, division one north action at mid-table Colwyn Bay.
The Lilywhites have picked up only one point from a possible nine in January, a major setback to their promotion play-off hopes.
