Council call off all pitches

SNOW has caused the cancelation of all Oldham Council pitches for this weekend (February 7 and 8).
All pitches in the area are under a blanket of snow and with sharp frosts forecast for the weekend and the prospect of more snow still a possibility, the Council moved quickly this morning to cancel all grass-pitch action.
