PLENTY TO SMILE ABOUT: Anabel Terry.
ANABEL TERRY will be flying the flag for Great Britain at the World Organisation Martial Arts Games in August.
The 11-year-old is a member of the GB team which will head off to Maryland, America. She will be competing in the in the ju-jitsu 12 and over weaponry section.
Anabel, who trains at the Domana Martial Arts Academy, Werneth, has another reason to celebrate after gaining her 1st Dan black belt in ju-jitsu.
Coach Dave Terry said: “This has really made Anabel. “She shows a great attitude and her hard work has paid off. She gave an exceptional grading.”
The youngster also has a blue belt in kick-boxing and a level two in weaponry, while she is also on a junior coaching course in ju-jitsu.
