FOR the first time since it was launched three years ago, fixtures in the Inbev Winter Bowling League were wiped out because of the arctic weather.
All of Saturday and Sunday's fixtures had to be cancelled after officials at Chadderton Cot conceded defeat to the snow and ice lying on the artificial surface.
This weekend's fixtures will now be played next Saturday and Sunday, and all subsequent matches, including those in the team and individual knock-outs, have been put back a week.
