Tame relegation fears ease

Tame Valley’s first team eased their relegation fears with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Fairways Lodge 2nds in Division Two Central of the JJB North West Counties Squash League.
Amir Manachouri, Mike Potter and Phil Wells gave them their first win in five matches.
Valley 2nds suffered a 5-0 drubbing by Fairways 3rds in Division Three North East, but the 3rds secured their third successive win - 4-1 over Village Hyde 3rds thanks to Graham Hall, John Heston, Richard Buchannan and Andrew Bailey.
Mark Regan, Steve Brannan and Eric Mowinski gave the fourths a 3-2 win over Total Fitness Wigan 1st.
