Tame ease league fears

Tame Valley first team further eased their relegation fears with a second succesive victory in Division 2 Central of the JJB North West Counties Squash League.
Jamie Maddox, Mike Potter, Herbie Roebuck and Steve Buxton were all impressive in a 4-1 defeat of Wigan CC 3rds.
The seconds suffered their seventh consecutive defeat in Division 3 East when slipping 3-2 against Cheetham Hill 1st, Fiona Heston and Mike Donohue scoring for the lcoal side.
However, the fourths extended their unbeaten run to four matches with a 3-2 win over Fairways Lodge 6th thanks to Derek Leyland, Steve Lomas and Phil Ashton.
In the Lancashire Women’s League, Valley had only Sue Booth successful in a 3–1 defeat by Next Generation Chorley.
