Cons go clear at top of the table

ROYTON Cons forged ahead at the top of the Chadderton Snooker League, sponsored by Hillbillies, with a 4-2 win over Clarksfield. High Crompton B could only take two points from mid-table Hillbillies but, with five matches still to play, any one of the top four teams could still take the title.

Last season’s card winners, Chadderton Cot A moved five points clear in their quest for a repeat.
