Tame bounce back

Tame Valley’s first team bounced back to form to beat Reedley 1st 3-2 in Division 2 Central of the JJB North West Counties League. Jamie Maddox, Amir Manachouri and Herbie Roebuck were successful.
The seconds trounced Bury 3rds 5-0 thanks to Wayne Smith, Gary Burton, Steve Ivell, Mike Donohue and Steve Buxton, but the thirds crashed 5-0 to Glossop 1st.
Steve Brannan was the only winner for the fourths in a 4-1 reverse against City of Manchester 4th.
In the Lancashire Women’s League, Linda Kenworthy, Dorothy Quarmby, Debra Cockburn and Denise Brown guided Valley to a 4-0 win over David Lloyd Manchester.
