Last-four cup pain for Park

CHADDERTON Park under-11s, with the players’ hair sprayed yellow and green to match their kit, suffered extra-time heartache in the semi-finals of the County Cup.
They went ahead through Tristan Jones moments after half-time, only for opponents Reddish Vale to draw level with 10 minutes to go with a well-struck free-kick.
Both teams had their chances in extra time, but two goals from Vale sealed a 3-1 win and a place in the final.
Rochdale and Oldham Youth League
CHADDERTON FC Juniors under-12s fought back from a half-time deficit to book their place in the final of the Rochdale and Oldham Youth League Cup.
Losing 3-1 at the break — Chris May (two) and Callum McEvilly scored for opponents Crompton Villa — they produced a stunning second-half show to emerge 5-3 winners.
Bradley Humphreys (two), Dan Javed, James Tulley and Liam Eadsforth were Chadderton’s marksmen.
o CHADDY End FC under-12s had Sam Haran, Tom Maloney, Ryan Mason and Lewis Henderson on the mark in a comfortable 4-0 defeat of Littleborough.
The under-15s picked up maximum points in a double-header against Middleton Rangers.
They won the first game 2-0 — Aidan Ball and Curtis Ingham got the goals — and they hit nine without reply in the second encounter. Ball bagged four this time, Ryan Cobaine and Chase Harrison scored two each and Josh Horrit got the other.
o HEYSIDE Juniors under-13s had Kareem James, Ross Morrison, Matthew Hyman and Danny Barnes on target in a 4-0 defeat of Chadderton FC.
A Jack Warburton goal clinched a 1-0 win for the under-14s against Moston Rangers, while the under-15s worked hard in windy conditions to claim a 3-0 success over Rochdale St Clements. Goals came from Joe Burlison, Ryan Atkin and Matthew Robinson.
o CHRIS Green equalised for Springhead under-13s, who fought out a 2-2 draw against Copperpot.
Kaimmen Morris put Springhead in front, only for Copperpot to score two goals in quick succession after the interval.
But a Charlie Greenwood corner fell at the feet of Green, who smashed the ball home to restore parity.
North Bury Junior League
CHADDY Hoppers enjoyed a good weekend in the North Bury Junior League.
The under-12s Red team, thanks to a goal from Josh O’Donnell, reached the final of the Subsidiary Cup after a 1-0 win over Summerseat Juniors.
Elliott Moss (two) and Reece Howcroft scored for under-12s Blue, who secured their premiership status courtesy of a 3-0 defeat of Westbury Sports.
Meanwhile, the under-13s remain top of their division after they swept aside Rossendale United 6-1.
Stephen Wharmby set the ball rolling, before a hat-trick from Martin Kenny and other goals from Blaine Biggs and James Lord sealed United’s fate.

STILL chasing honours on all fronts, Chadderton FC Juniors under-15s reached the last four of the Tameside and District Junior League Cup after a 4-2 defeat of Hyde United.
Trailing by the odd goal at the break, they fought back to keep alive their hopes of a silverware clean sweep.
Anthony Curran hit a hat-trick and Mike Taylor got the other for Chadderton.
o IN the cup competition, Heyside Juniors under-11s, with Matthew Walls (three), Aidan Pass and James Forde on target, posted a cosy 5-1 win over 3D Dynamos ‘M’.
And goals from Bradley Gordon, Jordan McLoughlin and Ryan Miller secured a 3-2 success for under-11s ‘B’ against Ashton United.
o TOM Lord and Jack Stanton scored for 3D Dynamos under-16s, who were beaten 3-2 by Glossop North End.

ANDREW Smith and Joe Fagan shared six goals as Chaddy End FC under-11s recorded a resounding 8-1 win over Phoenix Athletic in the Manchester Youth League.
Aidan Young and Nathan Crowther were other marksmen.
