Roytonians set to start

ROYTONIANS, who play in division two of the North Manchester Cricket League, are counting down to the new campaign.
The team, based at the Lancaster Club, Broadway, start their season away to Littleborough thirds on Saturday, April 25.
Preparations are under way, with indoor nets at Royton and Crompton School on Tuesday evenings from 8pm to 9.15pm. New players are welcome.

To raise funds, Roytonians, in partnership with Royton Town FC, are holding a sportsman’s dinner on May 16 at Smokies Park Hotel.
The guest speaker is former Manchester United and Northern Ireland star Norman Whiteside. The comic and impressionist is Aaron James.
