Rangers close in on top honours

MEDLOCK Rangers under-16s have taken a giant stride towards securing the East Manchester Junior League title.

They defeated close rivals Waterloo 3-0, thanks to goals from Andy Kremner (two) and Luke Kolakowiski.

Rangers are on course for a terrific treble as they can still win the League Cup and County Cup competitions.

KANE Hughes and Joe Ashworth weighed in with the goals as Avro Juniors under-13s defeated Waterloo 2-0.
