HIGH Crompton ‘B’ have been crowned champions of the Chadderton Snooker League, sponsored by Hillbillies Snooker and Pool Club.

They clinched top honours in the final week of the season after a 6-0 win over Clarksfield Cons.

A break of 45 from scratch competition winner Ian Atherton and a 40 and 31 break from Danny Gleeson guided Crompton to glory.

It all went wrong for Royton Cons. They had high hopes of taking the title, but instead went down 5-1 to Junction.

Clarksfield Cons are cards champions from Chadderton Cot ‘A’.
