Springbank go Second

A 5-1 victory for Springbank A and a 5-1 reverse for Chadderton Reform in the Oldham Amateur Snooker League sees the two sides swap second and third places.

Despite having no game, Deaf B remain top of the pile with a three-point lead going into the last six games of the season.

A 35 break from S Foy of Oldham Cricket was their only highlight as they suffered a 5-1 defeat at the hands of Blue Club A.

Nimble Nook suffered a double setback against Little Cot A, going down 6–0 at snooker and 4-0 at cards. Cot’s confidence would have been high after D Balcerzak’s 66 break the previous week and he followed that with another sterling performance while wins for A Smith, D Newton, M Healy and M Kennedy completed the whitewash.

Oldham Cricket have caught Nook and now sit joint top of the card league on 77 points.
