Springbank dominate

SPRINGBANK B were in whitewashing mood in the Oldham Amateur Snooker League. Helped by a 33 break from C Rushworth, they took all five frames and the aggregate to record a 6-0 victory away at Little Cot B.
A 37 break from W Hilton helped Blue Club to a 4-2 victory over CBC.
Oldham Cricket remain two points clear of second-placed Nimble Nook in the cards league.

Double top for Ward
YORKSHIRE Ward 2 completed a double in the Saddleworth Snooker League, winning the snooker title by a comfortable 15 points and the crib league narrowly from Austerlands 1.
Mossley again comfortably secured the darts title ahead of Greenfield 1.
Comrades in vital win
JOINT leaders Cricket B and Comrades B met in the Saw-Tech Shaw Snooker League and Comrades emerged 4-2 winners.
With one game remaining, Comrades are two points in front - but that final game is against third-placed Crompton Cons who are only three points behind.
Cons are chasing a clean sweep, having already clinched the cards and darts league titles.
Steve Bramwell (Cricket A) had a 58 break and 32 clearance in the draw with Comrades A.
