Mossley crushed
Date published: 22 April 2009
Mossley suffered a crushing 6-1 defeat at Durham City in UniBond League division one north last night.
Tommy English was the chief destroyer, notching a hat-trick in the game which was rearranged from December when it was abandoned because of a frozen pitch with the Lilywhites leading 4-0.
Meanwhile, Oldham Town were beaten 2-0 at basement boys Ashton Town in division one of the Vodkat North-West Counties League.
Ashton, for whom Jamie Campbell scored twice, have now won three in a row.
