CHADDERTON can have an important say in the Vodkat North-West Counties League division one promotion battle, even though they are destined to finish mid-table.
The Broadway outfit visit AFC Liverpool tomorrow. The team, formed last summer by fans of the famous Anfield club after claiming they had been priced out of watching Premier League football, looked certainties to go up at one stage.
But, after faltering in the second half of the season, they find themselves locked in a struggle with Stone Dominoes and Padiham for the one remaining promotion place.
Manager Paul Buckley has injury worries surrounding John Jones, Paul Socha, Gaz Hartley and Dave Glynn, while Donovan Greenidge is working.
Chadderton reserves are at Ashton Athletic tomorrow.
OLDHAM Town play their final home game of the season in the first division of the Vodkat NWCL when they play host to Irlam tomorrow.
