DELPH survived an early scare to reach round two of the Romida Sykes Cup.
Bilal Khilji hit 110 but needed support from number nine Luke Hargreaves (40) as Grant Jones’ side slump to 173 all out against Kirkburton.
But Mike Smethurst and Irfan Zahoor, with three wickets each, helped reduce the hosts to a meagre 61.
Meanwhile, Danny Anchor and Andrew Gleave were unbeaten on 68 apiece as Micklehurst swept aside Almondbury (174 for nine) by nine wickets.
