DELPH’S Romida Sykes Cup second-round tie at home to Scholes resumes at 6.30pm tonight with the visitors 56 for one from 25.3 overs.
Rain stopped play yesterday with Grant Jones’ side on top.
Delph maintained their unbeaten record in premiership one of the Drakes Huddersfield League on Saturday with an emphatic 102-run win over Broad Oak.
In a game reduced to 35 overs per side, Delph made 201 for six, thanks to Aaron Lilley’s 61 not out and 48 from Irfan Zahoor.
Lilley went on to take two for 20 as Broad Oak were restricted to 99 for nine in reply.
Delph’s second team defeated Lascelles Hall (53 all out) by eight wickets.
LANCASHIRE over-50s were in a commanding position when their game at Nottinghamshire was abandoned because of rain.
Recovering from three for two after being put in to bat, Lancashire were 184 for three when the heavens opened.
John Punchard hit 72, while Gary Crossley and Chris Dearden were unbeaten on 52 and 29 respectively.
Lancashire’s next game is on Wednesday at Formby.
