DELPH, riding high in the Drakes Huddersfield League, are facing a hectic Bank Holiday weekend.
They have three matches in as many days, starting with tomorrow’s short trip to Micklehurst in premiership one.
Grant Jones’ side, who are unbeaten this season, tackle Scholes in the Romida Sykes Cup 24 hours later.
The second-round tie was interrupted by rain last Sunday and, with no play possible in midweek, Scholes will carry on where they left off on 56 for one with 25 of their 50 overs remaining.
Delph return to league action on Monday when they entertain Skelmanthorpe.
WOODHOUSES are closing in on top spot in the Lancashire County League.
A comfortable win over Denton West lifted the Medlock Road outfit to third in the table, five points behind early-season pacesetters Prestwich.
Mike Cassidy struck 69 and Chris Atherton claimed four for 49 for Woodhouses, who entertain Flowery Field tomorrow.
