SHAW have struck form with a vengeance in the Armstrongs Office Furniture Saddleworth and District Cricket League.
After losing their first three games of the season, Rick Harrington’s side have won their next three.
They brought up the hat-trick with an 11-run defeat of Moorside at Holebottom Clough.
A half-century from Steve Whiston was the mainstay of Shaw’s 201 for seven.
Kashif Khan hit 75 for Moorside, but South African professional Warrick Fynn’s five for 78 helped limit the reply to 190.
The win has lifted Shaw to fifth place in the table, 35 points adrift of pacesetting Bamford Fieldhouse, who posted another comfortable win.
Opponents Glodwick were skittled out for 93 at Hollin Lane, with only Pakistani paid man Imran Aslam, who compiled 37, offering any kind of resistance.
The visitors did have some success with the ball — they claimed five wickets — but an unbeaten 38 from Dave Roberts saw Bamford home.
After defeat to Hollinwood last weekend, Austerlands bounced back to form with an emphatic win over Droylsden at Thorpe Lane.
Dave Oldfield, with five for 27, was the chief destroyer as Droylsden, despite 66 not out from Michael Schofield, were restricted to 128 for seven.
Abhi Ettimadai, with 41, was the only wicket to fall as Austerlands reclaimed second place. The other Michael Schofield was unbeaten on 62.
Heyside, thanks to Danny Cashin’s five for 43 and 55 from overseas amateur Chris Van Schalkwyk, posted a six-wicket success over Greenfield, who were bowled out for 110 at Little Hey Street.
Meanwhile, the rain leading up to Saturday’s programme took its toll on the matches at Friarmere and Hollinwood, which were both called off without a ball being bowled.
