WERNETH are hosting an open fourball event as part of their centenary celebrations.

It will take place at the Garden Suburb club on Friday, June 26 and costs only £24 per team of four (any combination of men, women and juniors).

Werneth also have just two spaces left to fill a 40-team field for their Joseph Parr (Alco) sponsored Pro-Am finale to centenary week on Monday, June 29.

Teams cost £210 plus VAT for three players plus an allocated professional.

This is a PGA North-sanctioned merit event with top professionals from the region competing for a prize that has been bolstered by a £250 bonus to any paid man who sets a new professional course record that stands at 63 — two higher than the amateur record of 61 held by member Lee Rowbotham.
