Tom, Richard steer Royton to victory

ROYTON won by seven wickets in a high-scoring CLL under-18 match at Middleton.
Unbeaten half-centuries from Tom Currie and Richard Fitton helped Middleton reach 168 for eight.
Royton reached 169 for three in reply, Joe Lovell scoring 51 not out.
In-form Craig Taylor took four wickets for 29 for Oldham, but the Pollards youngsters lost by 41 runs at Littleborough.
Taylor had taken five for no runs and Joe Rawlinson five for 10 in an easy win over Middleton, but this time Boro made 119 for nine before bowling out Oldham for 78.
Werneth were dismissed for 106 at second-placed Walsden, who triumphed by six wickets after hitting 107 for four in reply.
Leaders Heywood won by 22 runs at Clifton, who made 161 for six in reply to the Crimble club’s 183 for three.
