SADDLEWORTH league secretary Trevor Harrison is demanding clubs keep up to date with their paperwork.
Mr Harrison sent out letters to all 13 member clubs, asking for information about captains and professionals, which he will then pass on to David Lees, the Lancashire Cricket Board County Welfare Officer.
The letters were posted early May, with a deadline for return of this Saturday. He has had five replies.
Mr Harrison said: “It seems clubs can’t be bothered to follow simple instructions.
“The league has to comply with this or it will be in danger of losing its professional status.”
MICHAEL JONES and Steven Bird put on 167 for the second wicket as Stayley overcame Droylsden in the first round of the Moore Cup.
Jones struck 107 and Bird hit 104 in the Millbrook side’s mammoth total of 350 for six.
Droylsden were bowled out for 183, with Jones taking three for 18 runs.
The tie was put back a week due to drainage problems at Droylsden’s Oakfield ground.
UPPERMILL are the last remaining representatives from the Saddleworth League in this season’s Barclays Wealth LCB Cup.
Heyside, who were looking to join the Leafields outfit in round three, bowed out after a 39-run defeat at home to Walshaw, from the Bolton League.
Next up for Uppermill is either Denton St Lawrence or Westhoughton.
