SADDLEWORTH’S third team overcame Clifton in a low-scoring game in the Site Electrical North Man-chester League.
The Well-i-Hole outfit appeared to be heading towards defeat after they were bowled out for only 86 in round two of the Hodson Cup.
However, Saddleworth’s bowlers soon got among the Clifton batsmen to secure a 20-run success.
Roytonians are out after they suffered a six-wickets defeat against Greenmount.
Basement boys Failsworth Macedonia seconds are still searching for their first win of the season in division two.
They went down by 83 runs against their East Lancs PM counterparts on Saturday and were beaten by a 90-run margin at Prestwich thirds on Sunday.
