DELPH face a weekend on the road in premiership one of the Drakes Huddersfield League.
Grant Jones’ side, who sit second in the table behind Scholes, head to Golcar tomorrow and visit mid-table Shepley on Sunday. Both matches start 1.30pm.
Golcar came close to winning last season’s championship, but their fortunes have taken a dip since then and they are struggling at the lower end of the table.
WOODHOUSES, buoyed by reaching the semi-finals of the Walkden Cup, are away to Roe Green in the Lancashire County League tomorrow (1.30pm).
The Medlock Road outfit are at home to Denton West in the last four of the Walkden Cup, with the tie taking place on Sunday, July 5.
But Woodhouses’ hopes of title glory suffered a body blow last Saturday when they suffered a 10-wicket defeat at Denton St Lawrence.
