Macedonia off the mark

FAILSWORTH Macedonia seconds are off the mark in division two of the Site Electrical North Manchester League.

After nine games without a win, they defeated fellow strugglers Greenmount thirds by a 71 runs.

Greenfield’s third team recorded a third success of the season in division three as they overcame their Roe Green counterparts, who were limited to 176 for nine in reply to 223.
In division one, Failsworth Macedonia firsts, bowled out for just 94, suffered a six-wicket defeat at the hands of Elton Vale, while Springhead went down by seven wickets to mid-table rivals Blackley.
