SADDLEWORTH captain Peter Skuse is hoping his side can carry on their good run of form.
The Well-i-Hole outfit sit joint third in division one at the half-way stage of the season and, according to the Australian professional, have performed beyond expectations.
Skuse said: “Our aim at the start was to finish in the top six.
“We are third, but fortunes in this game can change pretty quickly.
“Nine of the players from the Tanner Cup-winning side of 2006 are either no longer with us or aren’t playing first-team cricket.
“We’ve had to rebuild and so far things have gone quite well. The young players are coming through which is nice to see.”
