SIX A SIDE contest winners with the Mayor and officials
OLDHAM Greenhill Community Sports Club, in conjunction with East Oldham Area Committee, organised a Community Cohesion six-a-side football league which ran from January until June.
Twelve teams took part - from Hathershaw, Glodwick, Clarksfield, Sholver, St Mary’s, Royton, Roundthorn and Coppice.
The winners of the competition were Glodwick, with Roundthorn runners-up.
The league was funded by East Oldham Area Committee and trophies were presented to the winners by the Mayor of Oldham, Cllr Jim McArdle, Young Mayor Mohammed Adil and St Mary’s Ward councillor Mohammed Masuad.
