ROB TIPPING’S eight-match ban has been dropped by the Saddleworth and District Cricket League.
The Droylsden second-team captain was suspended for showing dissent on the field and for being unable to control his players against Glodwick on Saturday, June 13.
But, after reviewing the evidence on appeal, the league decided to overturn their original decision.
Meanwhile, Gary Pemberton is set to sit out the next two matches for ungentlemanly conduct.
The Saddleworth all-rounder kicked over his stumps and threw down his bat at the end of an over against Shaw on Saturday, June 20. He has until tomorrow to lodge an appeal.
