AFTER suffering semi-final heartache in the Walkden Cup, Woodhouses turn their attention to gathering vital Lancashire County League points tomorrow.
Gareth Tuson’s side are at home to Prestwich in a match of great importance to both teams.
Woodhouses sit third in the table, eight points adrift of top spot, with this weekend’s visitors hot on their heels in fourth.
The Medlock Road outfit are on the comeback trail after losing to leaders Denton West in the last four, despite an unbeaten 58 from Chris Atherton and Phil Sutcliffe’s 46.
But Woodhouses’ second team are through to the Hulme Trophy final after a six-wicket win over Denton.
