BILAL KHILJEE struck an unbeaten 122 as Delph defeated Slaithwaite by 110 runs in premiership one of the Drakes Huddersfield League.
The Pakistani all-rounder hit 10 fours and nines sixes and shared in a fifth-wicket stand of 133 with Luke Hargreaves (71 not out).
Defending 261 for five, Delph restricted the visitors to 151 for seven in a match reduced to 40 overs per side.
Khiljee also chipped in with two for 26, while Kamran Mirza claimed three for 22.
Delph seconds won by two runs at Hall Bower after the home side slumped from 123 for five to 127 all out.
The battle for bonus points in the County Championship was won by Warwickshire as their match against Lancashire ended in a predictable draw at Edgbaston.
It was the 12th draw in 14 games at the ground with the loss of the entire first day to rain and another slow pitch contributing to a familiar stalemate.
Only Francois du Plessis, who made a championship–best 79, and Mark Chilton, with his highest score since April, will have gained much satisfaction from a dreary final day as Lancashire enjoyed some batting practice.
Warwickshire secured maximum bonus points by extending their first innings until their ninth–wicket pair of Chris Woakes and Naqaash Tahir had taken them to 403 for eight.
Warwickshire’s declaration denied Lancashire a final bowling point.
And the home side then picked up all three bowling points themselves after the sides agreed to play on into the final hour.
