LEAGUE THROWS UP PAIR OF ACES

THERE were two holes in one during Oldham Golf League action this week.
Chris Gleave, the Brookdale ‘B’ team captain struck a 3-rescue at Werneth’s 187-yard 16th — his first ace. Two down at the time, the ace helped win the game 1 up.
And Saddleworth ‘B’ player Graham Hobbs managed his fourth ace when he struck a 5-iron to the 178-yard 15th at the Mountain Ash course in their match with Oldham.
