Grime shows rivals a clean pair of heels

READY FOR THE OFF: Runners line up before the start of the third Royton Trail race.
A RECORD field of 160 runners contested the third Royton Trail race.
Over five and a half miles, the event started and finished at the Tandle Hill Tavern.
The winner was local man Ian Grime, of Newham and Essex Beagles. He sliced a minute off the course record to cross the line in 30 minutes 52 seconds.
Alison Sedman, of Belle Vue Racers, was the first women home.
Royton Road Runners had an impressive entry of 41 competitors.
The overall men’s team prize went to Stuart Hulme, closely followed by Stuart Carroll.
